Yangon Circular Train
Riding the Circle Line train is a window into the daily routine of the Myanmar people away from the commercial centre of the country. The commuter train is the cheapest method of transportation in the city, for only $1 for foreigner it will take you around the 32 stations, which takes about three hours to complete. The train conductor open the back door of the train and let me sit. He can't speak English and he's just doing some sign language but I get what he was trying to say. He want me to take photos of every scenery in each station. He even stopped the train for quite a long time so I could take a photo of the upcoming train and the market in one of the stations. |
